Hall of Fame
EDGA player and wheelchair tennis star Monique Kalkman-van den Bosch has achieved an amazing honour by being included in the 2017 International Tennis Hall of Fame.
Monique from Brabant in the Netherlands suffered from cancer at a young age and nowadays forms part of the NGF selection for golfers with physical disabilities.
2017 Portugal Masters EDGA Demonstration Team
The EDGA Demonstration team conducted a clinic on the range and again on the putting green at the Portugal Masters which took place at the Dom Pedro Victoria course in Vilamoura. The EDGA team included Mike Gays, Juan Postigo Arce, Monique Kalkman, Pedro Sottomayor, Aurélien Lacour and Rasmus Lot. Special thanks to The European Tour, EDGA's Mark Taylor, Tony & Sue Bennett along with various Tour players who very kindly helped.

The EDGA Demonstration team of six golfers play the 18th hole with European Tour professional golfers at the 2017 Portugal Masters. The EDGA team comprising of Mike Gays, Juan Postigo Arce, Monique Kalkman, Pedro Sottomayor, Aurélien Lacour and Rasmus Lot all played exeptionally well in front of the crowds and television cameras. The 2017 Portugal Masters took place at the Dom Pedro Victoria course in Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal.
Groundbreaking film of golfers with disability
The European Tour, supported by The R&A and EDGA, has made a film that will “open the eyes” of everyone to the high standard of a generation of golfers with a disability now competing against each other internationally. EDGA believes this short video and a longer 30-minute film – made at the EGA European Championship – should be seen by anyone interested in sport and health as it emphatically demonstrates that golf can offer great benefits to people with disability. 2018 EDGA Portugal Masters Demonstration Team
20-23 September 2018 - once again EDGA are delighted to be at the Portugal Masters. This year we have six players who have not been to the event previously and each are here on merit, through the Ranking for golfers with disability (R4GD). Many types of disability or impairment are unseen as their effects are not immediately apparent.
